Archex Streamlines B2B Commerce on Shopify
Case Study Overview
Groupe Sani-Tech, founded in 1975, is a manufacturer and distributor of architectural products serving a large B2B market across Canada, the United States, and Latin America. With growing demand and expansion opportunities, the company needed to modernize its operations and better support both its established B2B customers and new digital channels.
To reach this goal, Sani-Tech partnered with Novatize to design a unified eCommerce strategy that would optimize internal processes and prepare the company for broader market expansion through its new brand, Archex.
What Changed
Novatize automated Sani-Tech’s core B2B operations including order management, catalog updates, and pricing, improving efficiency and accuracy across multiple regions. These upgrades reduced manual work, accelerated order processing, and strengthened service for B2B customers. At the same time, Novatize supported the rollout of Archex, a new bilingual eCommerce brand of Groupe Sani-Tech built for markets beyond its core B2B channels. The project included brand positioning, content creation, and a streamlined online store optimized for professional buyers and market expansion.
Why It Matters
This project shows how a manufacturer can modernize its digital operations to better serve B2B customers and open new growth channels. By automating key workflows and building a scalable eCommerce platform, Groupe Sani-Tech improved efficiency and extended its reach beyond traditional distribution. Today, the company is positioned as a strong player in B2B eCommerce, equipped to meet professional buyers’ needs and scale confidently in a unified commerce environment.
“For our company, entering the world of eCommerce was a whole new adventure. We had to review several processes, revise the information available in our systems, change our ways of doing things, establish new measures, revisit our brand image, and so on. Being well supported by the Novatize team was reassuring. Their work methods helped us avoid many unforeseen events and maximize our investment. Now that the project has been delivered, we are continuing and will continue to work with the Novatize team to optimize our customers’ experience and the return for our company!” – Toby Lessard, Sales and Business Development Director, Archex/Sani-Tech Group
